Britta - Hygienist

Hi!

My name is Britta, and I’m a dental hygienist at Windsor Family Dental. In 1999, I graduated from Madison Area Technical College with a degree in dental hygiene. Since then, I have worked in a variety of dental settings including general practice, periodontics and pediatrics. Over the past 20 years, I have been dedicated to improving dental health care for patients by being compassionate as I build relationships with them.

Before earning my dental hygiene degree, my passion for learning started by pursuing an education degree at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. I’ve continued to grow in my education as I am currently attending Marian University in Fond du Lac to complete my bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Through this dedication to lifelong learning, I’ve received many certifications in infection control, OSHA compliance, laser dentistry and additional pain management strategies such as local anesthesia training and nitrous oxide administration. In Fall 2022, I will become a part-time dental assistant educator at Blackhawk Technical College to extend my love of education, dedication to the dentistry profession, and hands-on dental care training to my students.

I’m very excited to join the Windsor Family Dental patient care team. Since I grew up in the area, I’m happy to return “home” and work with the team to provide compassionate, family-centered care to our patients and everyone who enters the clinic doors.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my family–3 children and 4 furry children–or spending time fishing, hiking, camping or anything outdoors in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
